Windows of Time

CLAUDE MEYLAN sources its inspiration from the passing of Time and creates« Windows of Time ». Decorated and fitted with two windows and an arrow, the dials present a new sculpture of time. The perpetual rotation of the dial allows to discover the magic workings and decorations of the hand winding movement. Subtle and secrets of the fully skeleton mechanic are being revealed by the poetry of the passing of time. The dial is pierced in three openings, 2 windows and a pointer. The pointer indicates the hour and while rotating, the two windows reveal the entire subtilities of the fully decorated and skeletonized movement.In a ballet, the windows follow the arrow and stage the wheels and very fine details of the heart of the piece. A sequence that let us read time with infinite serenity.“Windows of Time” contributes to take you in a poetic tour, stage by stage and all around the magic of a mechanical piece.
