Wavy Central Tourbillon NanoSaphir Chameleon

The Purity Manufacture collection continues to refine itself, with its latest bold creation featuring a 20mm central tourbillon inside a Wavy NanoSapphire Chameleon case. The impressive cage oscillates at a frequency of 4 Hz, a remarkable feat for such a substantial tourbillon. It is the 5th movement developed by ArtyA, the 4th with a tourbillon, but the first to feature automatic winding. Its substantial ArtyA mass winds two barrels mounted in parallel, providing a power reserve of over 72 hours.

The time display has been entirely designed to fade into the background, allowing the centerpiece—the tourbillon—to take center stage. A needle-free solution accomplishes this by using two peripheral indicators to show the hours and minutes, moving from the outside inwards.

To accommodate this movement and fully appreciate the spectacle it offers, Jérémie Arpa, designer and son of Yvan Arpa, created a masterful Wavy case entirely made of NanoSaphir Chameleon. This material is a world exclusive from the independent Geneva-based brand. Under natural light, the "Chameleon" case reflects an initial color, in this case, a deep amber orange. When exposed to artificial light (6500K or higher), it instantly changes color, offering a vivid green in this unique piece. Its 40mm diameter provides the perfect balance of elegance and comfort, while the 14.5mm thickness allows the tourbillon to rise and be admired from all angles.
