UltraFino Skeleton Carbon

The UltraFino Carbon is a tourbillon watch with an ultra-thin automatic movement able to withstand impacts of extraordinary intensity. It was put to the test on the wrist of Bianchet ambassador Alexander Bublik, who wore the UltraFino throughout his tournaments, including his most recent quarter-final at Roland-Garros.

The result of extensive technical and aesthetics development, the UltraFino demonstrates that slimness, mechanical refinement, and reliability can coexist in an automatic tourbillon movement under 4 mm thick.

Its slightly curved tonneau case, made from high-density carbon and measuring 40 mm in width and 8.9 mm in thickness, is paired with an integrated carbon bracelet designed with a monobloc architecture. This construction ensures comfort, durability, and elegance, under the most demanding physical conditions.

At the heart of the watch lies the UT01 calibre, only 3.85 mm thick and weighing just 8 grams. It features a central gold rotor, a 2.66 mm-high flying tourbillon cage in titanium, and shock resistance exceeding 5,000 G. Fully meeting the standards of Haute Horlogerie finishing, each movement requires 15 hours of traditional hand beveling. The movement's performance was made possible thanks to a series of key technical innovations:

Suspended barrel: The removal of the ratchet wheel enabled the implementation of a suspended barrel, delivering a 60-hour power reserve within an ultra-slim structure.

Re-engineered escapement architecture: The escapement stacking solution allows the use of a large screw balance wheel, ensuring both visual elegance and functional stability.

Optimized winding and time-setting system: A newly developed winding and setting mechanism reduces friction and enhances energy efficiency.

Advanced shock protection: Protective elements around the balance wheel and movement structure absorb shocks and preserve stability, even in extreme usage conditions.
