"That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." On July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong first set foot on the lunar surface. To honor the monumental significance of humanity's first moon landing, we have sculpted this feat into an art of time.
The watch dial utilizes high-resolution NASA image data, meticulously recreating the lunar topography with micro-engraving craftsmanship. At Armstrong's precise landing site (0.67°N, 23.47°E), his historic footprint is engraved with an accuracy of 0.01 millimeters.
This timepiece replaces conventional hands with a moving astronaut. Sculpted in the likeness of Armstrong, the astronaut simulates his moonwalk in a weightless environment. Powered by CIGA Design's self-developed non-synchronous tracking movement, the astronaut simultaneously indicates the hours and minutes. Each orbit it traces seems to recreate humanity's courageous strides into the unknown.
More than an exhibition of precision watchmaking, this wristwatch is a sublime tribute to the human spirit of exploration. Using time as its medium, it records the courage and wisdom that broke free from Earth's gravitational bounds. It also inspires every wearer to continually challenge boundaries and push the limits of possibility on their own life's journey.
