Skeleton movement
The Time Rider's creative inspiration comes from the feeling of driving a car. Today, in the age of the internet, human time has become fragmented; we cannot control our own time. In reality, time always quietly slips away from us. Often, time feels uncontrollable, and I wonder, how can we master our own time? We need to master time rather than be mastered by it, just like driving a car.
And when I grip the steering wheel to drive a car, I found the answer.
The flow of time comes from the movement; we designed the movement to be suspended, floating in the middle of the case. It feels as if time could slip away uncontrollably, giving the watch an imminent sense of detachment. We incorporated four structures on the case, resembling a car steering wheel, reminding the wearer to seize and master their time. The entire movement resembles gears, like a car's gearbox—finally, I found the answer: slow down time, not be driven by it, but become the master of time.
