BEHRENS Inventor Collection – Batman Tourbillon

Tourbillon as one of the historical watch mechanism / functions in the industry, it has been taken also as a tribute to the modern watch manufacturing. To continue this craftmanship and for celebrating the 85th anniversary of famous superhero character, BEHRENS has collaborated with Warner Brothers and designed an all-new timepiece, “The Dark Knight”. The Dark Knight is a sized 38mm round case, manual wind wristwatch featuring with a skeletonized, in-house developed tourbillon movement Cal.BM05 and is limited to 200pcs.

The Functions

To further extend BEHRENS' craftmanship and watchmaking ability, we have taken the challenge of building this all-new and unique tourbillon exclusively for the 85th anniversary of Batman. For this new timepiece, we have created a new 38mm diameter round case to accommodate the new in-house Cal.BM05 manual wind movement. The tourbillon mechanism has a luminous Batman logo on top which rotates on a 60 seconds per cycle basis. Alongside, this skeletonized tourbillon movement also features a power reserve indicator at 1:30 position, a black and white globe type Day / Night indicator at 9:30 position and a date window display at 6:00 position.

The Case

The round case has been black coated to match the theme of Batman and has sapphire crystal top and bottom to display the movement. Lugs has a hallowed design to add a touch of surface linings.

The Strap

Each of this “The Dark Knight” wristwatch will come with 2 sets of rubber straps (orange and black tone, each with Batman logo) with quick change mechanism.
