Swordfish “Snow White”
Wide-eyed and breathless
This vigorously sensual “in your face” chronograph is definitely not for the shy at heart. It is entirely in keeping with the revived and perpetuated Graham spirit of invention, representing a powerful expression of technical sophistication that is literally packed with innovations.
Lessons in horological anatomy
The Swordfish boasts the kind of unique technical features that are the very essence of the uncompromising brand philosophy. The cleverly recessed and ridged tip of the crown ensures a perfect grip, as do the push-buttons with their “clous de Paris” motif. The original mirror-polished section on either side of the raised bezel contrasts with the rest of the fine-brushed surface, while the dipping design of the lugs framing the robust 46 mm stainless steel case (water-resistant to 160 feet) guarantees a perfect fit on every wrist. The allergy free silicon rubber strap is equipped with an extra large buckle.
Time magnified and transcended
The sapphire crystals protecting the 12-hour/sweep seconds and 30-minute chronograph counters reinforce the intriguing optical effect of depth created by the shape of the case. By widening the gap between the protuberant eyes of the Swordfish, Graham has simultaneously freed up space for an additional circle in the middle to facilitate reading off information. The brand's inimitable “Drive Left' concept is signalled by an L just above 6 o'clock on the dial of one version, while an R for right stands for the more conventional arrangement.
Thanks to this range of distinctive characteristics, Swordfish catches and holds the gaze in a hypnotic grip, drawing the fascinated observer into the infinite depths of time.
