Mach One SkyEagle Chronograph
The world's first chronograph with inverted escapement,
reassembled and visible at the dial level.

Representative of the finest English and British watchmaking of the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, the Ellicott company, now resettled in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, presents the self-winding SkyEagle chronograph from the Mach One collection.

Fashioned in satin-polished steel with black DLC* finish, its case displays a stylish cushioned square silhouette. Its ergonomic design underlines the position of its crown and pushpiece, opposite 8 o'clock. Fitted with a sapphire lens, the porthole-like case back reveals the movement's intricate construction.

The layout and openworking of the SkyEagle's handsome silver-toned and black dial face underscore the chronograph's various technical features and functions. Its time displays include two luminescent hands for the hours and minutes and a sub-dial at 3 o'clock for the running seconds. A centre seconds hand and a 30-minute totaliser at 9 o'clock make up the chronograph functions. A tachymetric scale is inscribed on the dial flange.

The self-winding chronograph movement equipping the SkyEagle is the first to be fitted with an inverted escapement, reassembled at the dial level and visible at 5 o'clock through the dial plate. This movement is also unusual in that it features a single pushpiece.

The Ellicott SkyEagle is just the thing for discerning connoisseurs of thoroughbred possessions and mechanical excellence.
