Combining the pure vision and exceptional talents of renowned Genevan dial maker Atelier Olivier Vaucher with the insightful passion of watchmaker Olivier Gaud, TAOS was born in 2024, unveiling a novel concept in watchmaking : Watches combining multiple exceptional artistic crafts, each a unique masterpiece crafted in the Geneva workshop, to create extraordinary dials that spring to life through intricately decorated mechanical movements.

Each watch is one-of-a-kind, each dial a work of art. The culmination of years of experience, patience and creativity amassed by the more than 40 artisan-craftspeople at Atelier Olivier Vaucher.

The TAOS Sequins watch is inspired by the art of sequins, symbols of luxury and craftsmanship since the Middle Ages. The dial, hand-engraved and adorned with translucent enamel, recreates the brilliance of haute couture’s sparkling embellishments, with subtle color gradients. Each sequin becomes a fragment of light, capturing reflections and depth, offering a unique piece that blends tradition, art, and innovation in perfect harmony.

The case is entirely hand engraved in order to create a continuity with the dial.

The self-winding Automatic double-barrel winding shown in parallel VOP318, developed exclusively by Télôs (La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland) for TAOS is entirely hand engraved by the engravers of the Atelier Vaucher. This year's pattern, requiring more than a hundred hours of engraving, is inspired by draped fabrics, lending sculptural elegance to every bridge.
