Exclusive DeWitt model, the Seconde Rétrograde Academia features a DW1101 mechanical, self-winding movement, manufactured in Vandoeuvres. This DeWitt movement has a 42 power-reserve. It is housed in the famous red gold “Academia” case, with bezel and middle section engraved with exclusive DeWitt “Imperial Columns”.
The seconds are indicated by a retrograde hand which moves across an engine-turned fan-shaped gold 30-seconds counter located at 6 o'clock.
Red gold case set with 305 round diamonds (3.30 carats). Red golg dial and white mother-of-pearl dial with ruthenium sun pattern embellished by encrusted numerals and hour symbols. This model is available on a chocolate brown alligator strap with a red gold buckle.
It is water resistant to 30 meters.
The red gold Seconde Rétrograde Academia are available in a limited series of 99 pieces per dial created by the DeWitt Manufacure in Vandoeuvres. Each watch is numbered and is delivered with a certificate of authenticity signed by Mr Jérôme de Witt himself.
