PK-01 Harmonious Friends Series

Swiss Craftsmanship meets Tibetan mythology.

Pekhor is a word combination of the two Tibetan language words Pema (Lotus) and Khorlo (Wheel, Chakra).

The first Pekhor model is the „Harmonious Friends” edition. As an «indigenous piece of art» a specially minted 925 silver coin is integrated and protected by a sapphire crystal in the case-back. The motif shows the four harmonious friends as they appear in the Tibetan fable. The Harmonious Friends fable is a symbol for peace and harmony, for mutual respect between beings and especially respect for the elderly, which is the indispensable basis for a harmonious life.

The case itself is inspired by the lotus flower. To achieve the unique design of the lugs, a waterproof container had to be engineered and the four lugs are made in one piece and put over the waterproof container. The whole watch is service friendly engineered with a replaceable screwed in crown tube. The crown itself is engraved with „The Endless Knot“ emblem and the O-ring gaskets who assures the waterproofness up to a depth of 100m can easily be changed.

The case is crafted in 316L stainless steel, and the mirror polished areas are alternating with brushed surfaces.

Dial:

The silver-colored dial is sun brushed and has a lower level at the circumference for the minute markers. The black-gold plated applied Pekhor logo, and the facetted hour indices are diamond polished with satin-finished details. The hour markers are equipped with Grade X1 Super-LumiNova®.

Hands:

The diamond polished and facetted hour, minute and second hands are black nickel coated. The hour and minute hand are equipped with Grade X1 Super-LumiNova®.
