Description
For the demanding Lady: Glamorous and ultra feminine!
The new diamond version of the Masterpiece Phase de Lune is extremely luxurious and
feminine. In dazzling white or resplendent violet and with glittering diamonds, it is bound to
ensure the woman who wears it a glamorous and spectacular appearance.
For the Masterpiece Phase de Lune Diamonds, Maurice Lacroix polished the refined, luxurious,
41 millimetre-wide stainless steel case until it gleams. This shows off particularly well the 67 Top
Wesselton 1.12 carat diamonds which decorate the perfectly screwed bezel. Even the crown is
decorated with seven precious diamonds.
Yet, this watch creates a striking appearance also because of its two exclusive and exceedingly
elegant dial versions: the one is dazzling white with a distinctive contrast between its silver-coloured
and white mother-of-pearl parts; the other is in a modern violet. Both play masterfully with asymmetry
– the two rings for the minutes and hours and the applied 31 day ring for the date, joined to the inside
of the hours ring, taper towards 6 and 12 o'clock respectively. A unique feature is the extraordinary
moon phase indication. It illustrates a generously lit sky in a soft pink or violet which is studded with
13 diamonds. The polished, hand-applied Roman numerals and the index marks which are also
studded with 22 diamonds, together with the circular or vertical brushed dial centre and hours ring
complete this exceptionally luxurious dial finish.
This fine exterior matches the equally fine interior: The richly hand-decorated automatic movement
calibre ML 163 operates a disc with a moon symbol that displays the moon's cycle from one new
moon to the next at 6 o'clock. As well as the moon phase, the Masterpiece Phase de Lune Diamonds
also displays – partly with hands and partly using small dial windows – the seconds, minutes and
hours, the date, the weekday and the month.
