The Monarque is a contemporary re-imagination of the classic dive watches of the 1960s. Although the watch at first glance resembles a vintage timepiece, the distinction lies in the fine details, where both elegant and brand-exclusive design coupled with exceptional quality elevate the Monarque beyond its original inspiration.

Its case design with flowing bombée lugs alludes to the elegant, refined lines of its forebears, but improved further with more complex case finishing and 904L stainless steel construction. Three extremely fine hand-polished lines outline the sinewy curves of the Monarque’s brushed case. A slender, vintage-style 120 click unidirectional sapphire glass bezel, which is engraved before being filled with luminous material, finishes off the case.

The dial comprises applied, multi-faceted indices and semi-skeletonised hands, all applied with light blue luminous material. The hour indices and hands are all of a proprietary design exclusive to Milléchron. The dial itself is smoked with a sunray brushed finish.

The movement is the Vaucher Calibre 3002 double barrel automatic, equipped with signed tungsten rotor, with CLA Chronometry certification. The movement exhibits fine finishing befitting a high-end diving watch.

Finally, the high-quality rubber strap is attached flush to the case of the Monarque exactly, built to the exact dimensions of the watch (a different strap is shown in the photos). It carries a bespoke diamond pattern exclusive to Milléchron and is fastened with a brushed extendable diving clasp with internal perlage finishing.
