An outsider brand named KERBEDANZ

KERBEDANZ — meaning leader and precursor — was established in 2011 in Neuchâtel Switzerland with the goal of setting a new level of luxury in bespoke timepieces for men and women. In an atelier in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, artisanal watchmakers, designers and symbolists, craft unique timepieces and collections that exquisitely reflect the company’s motto, “Crafting your Singularity.”

Kerbedanz has strived to create exceptional timepieces, all linked by the common theme of the micro-mechanical show.

The Micro-Mechanical Show

The term "micromechanical show" on a wristwatch refers to the intricate display of the watch's internal mechanics, often showcased through features like an exhibition case back or a skeleton dial. This allows the wearer and admirers to view the complex movements, gears, and springs that power the watch, turning the timepiece into not just a functional object but a piece of wearable art.

Micromechanical shows in wristwatches are a celebration of the art and science of watchmaking, offering a window into the precision engineering that powers each timepiece. They appeal to collectors and enthusiasts who appreciate the mechanical beauty and craftsmanship of watches.

Building on this admiration for the micro-mechanical show, Kerbedanz staged the largest flying tourbillon in the world on a wristwatch, due to its specificity it was thus named MAXIMUS.

MAXIMUS

KERBEDANZ has given the name MAXIMUS to this exceptional piece of fine watchmaking.

Why MAXIMUS ? Because MAXIMUS is at the same time a title, a name and a superlative adjective, very common in ancient Rome, which meant “the greatest”. No other name than "Maximus" could be better suited to represent this unprecedented model of KERBEDANZ, the precision of the mechanical movement of which is ensured by the world`s largest wristwatch tourbillon.

Thus this MAXIMUS flying tourbillon has a titanium cage, has a diameter of 27mm and a height of 3.85mm for 73 components weighing 1.35g; All performing one revolution in 120 seconds.

GR8 the case with a revolutionary design

Reflecting the “crafting your singularity” philosophy, Kerbedanz has designed a revolutionary case entirely in-house, combining the barrel shape, the octagonal shape and the spherical shape.

The GR8 octagonal-spherical barrel.

THE MAXIMUS GR8 TOURBILLON 2 MINUTES

The Maximus GR8 Tourbillon 2 Minutes is the fusion between the largest flying tourbillon in the world on a wristwatch and the revolutionary case design GR8.

This perfect fusion offers an exceptional timepiece with the In house Movement KRB08-2 with 381 components, Tourbillon, hour and minute indication with Superluminova technology with a skeleton dial and the new patented raquettery system (CH 713 605 A2 ) on the front.

On the back side The Maximus GR8 Tourbillon 2 Minutes can offer A beautiful perspective on the patented manual mechanical winding mechanism with 4 barrels (CH 713 607), the power reserve indicator and the designed rotor.
