It was co-designed with women, especially for women who share our passion for transparent mechanics, hand-finished movement decoration and engineering excellence. Haute horlogerie from a feminine perspective

The Lady Beat is the very first model created specifically for women by the Armin Strom Manufacture. A feminine interpretation of the brand’s milestone System 78 Collection, it features a 38mm case with the visible mechanics that are among Armin Strom’s hallmarks. The movement was redeveloped to bring the balance – the beating heart of any watch – to the front of the watch, where it is always on full display. The open-worked automatic movement distinguish the Lady Beat from any other women’s watch.

A highlight of the Lady Beat’s distinctive face is the visible trio of bridges echoing the pocket watch inspiration behind the in-house Caliber ALA20, which offers a stunning contrast to the offset white dial. The designers settled on soft shapes for the Lady Beat that offer a striking contrast to the angular shapes that have always been associated with Armin Strom’s watches for men. A close look reveals a half-moon-shaped plate that harmoniously shares space with the mechanical elements, while a full-moon-shaped subdial rounds out the presentation.

Inspiration

The Lady Beat is a celebration of mechanical transparency. Working with female design consultants, the Manufacture’s team took inspiration for its distinctive look from the Gravity Equal Force timepiece while building on and highlighting the recently-launched System 78 collection. The Caliber ALA20 remains the centerpiece but its mechanics have been reordered to enhance the watch’s wearability and to focus the spotlight on the mechanical dial animation. Though technical, the watch exudes a resolutely feminine feel interpreted in Armin Strom’s minimalist style. The brand’s passion for visible mechanics is evident with every glance from any angle.  

Aesthetic appeal and maximum comfort

The Lady Beat’s 38-millimeter case – a first for Armin Strom – offers a unique aesthetic allure as well as maximum wearer comfort. It is presented on an integrated white bi-material strap with a red interior crafted from rubber and Alcantara satin. The Caliber ALA20 has an impressive power reserve of 70 hours.
