Hublot 1915
The new Hublot range breathes new life into the brand by giving it a new dimension in keeping with Hublot's unique, timeless sense of design.
In 1980, Hublot unexpectedly teamed gold with rubber to give birth to a unique timepiece. Twenty-five years later, the brand has reinterpreted its very DNA with a fresh exploration of its guiding principles, the “Fusion”.
There are two levels of interpretation in the Fusion; one in the external material of the watch i.e. the strap and, the case, in assembling unusual materials such as ceramic and Kevlar with pink gold, or rubber, tantalum with platinum. On the other side, the Fusion of the movement combining watch making tradition with a vision of the 21st Century and aesthetic innovations.
The 2005 new Hublot collection is not only presenting the rebirth of the celebrated Hublot strap in natural rubber with a fabulous first colour ‘croco' strap keeping its traditional rubber base to preserve its unique sense of comfort but offers the new collection an overall face lift to its unique design.
The Bezel has been enlarged and ornamented with 12 recessed screws and the attachments are bearing a polished appearance to provide a brilliant new shine. On the technical side, a transparent crystal back leaves open to view the mechanical movement with automatic winding mechanism, enhanced by a new oscillating weight sporting the colours of the brand.
Another major innovation in the new 2005 Hublot collection is the new Hublot deployant clasp combined with the now adjustable strap to adapt instantly to different wrist sizes, with no loss of the timekeeper's essential comfort or ultra-functionality.
