The freelancer Pop Bi-Compax Chronograph Limited Edition, aptly named to evoke a visual symphony, exudes the essence of joy and camaraderie found in live musical performances. With hints of turquoise adorning the dial, bezel and oscillating weight, this remarkable design infuses the renowned freelancer chronograph collection with an electrifying burst of creative energy.
Elie Bernheim, CEO of RAYMOND WEIL, says:
“This limited edition is an ode to live music. It celebrates the joy of sharing a musical moment together. With hints of vibrant colour on the dial, the design offers an added creative energy within our collection of freelancer chronographs. The full titanium case and bracelet provide lightweight comfortability both on stage and in the audience. I hope this timepiece will inspire you to live your life with passion, creativity and joy.”
The 43.5mm titanium case with a black ceramic tachymeter bezel features all the hallmarks of a RAYMOND WEIL chronograph; RW5030 automatic movement, 56-hour power reserve and screwed-down and fluted with RW monogram to the crown.
The black gradient dial serves as the perfect canvas for the turquoise accents of the chronograph and pulsometer counters, delivering a captivating pop of colour on the wrist. The symmetrical ci-compax layout features a 30-minute chronograph counter and a small seconds display, while the generously proportioned hour and minute hands, complemented by nickel-plated indexes enhanced with white Super-Luminova®, ensure optimal readability. Positioned at 6 o'clock, a date window contributes to the overall symmetry of the dial. The 5-row titanium bracelet completes the timepiece's lightweight and ergonomic construction. The W-shaped oscillating weight, the new horological signature of RAYMOND WEIL, is visible through the engraved case back.
As part of the release, RAYMOND WEIL has joined forces with saxophonist Sandy Sax and emerging pianist Victor Le Douarec to create a special song in collaboration, that celebrates the harmonious relationship between horology and music. Through engaging visuals and a joyful performance, the project ignites a shared passion for the beauty of music and the elegance of timekeeping.
Limited to just 400 timepieces, the freelancer Pop Bi-Compax Chronograph is a timepiece for both watchmaking aficionados and music enthusiasts alike. This exceptional watch exemplifies the fusion of heritage, innovation, and artistic expression, reaffirming RAYMOND WEIL's unwavering commitment to crafting creative timepieces that transcend boundaries.
