Wandering hour complication
GORILLA DRIFT MIRAGE
Gorilla Watches is thrilled to introduce the Fastback Drift Mirage, combining our exclusive G-5238 wandering hours complication with the legendary powder blue and orange racing livery victorious at LeMans in 1968.
The aluminum satellite disks and chapter ring of the proprietary wandering hours module are finished in natural aluminum anodization, creating the perfect backdrop for the hand-laid black Swiss Super-LumiNova™ indices.
The high horology finish of the proprietary Drift complication features a hand-chamfered & brushed carousel cage, and a hand-milled base plate fixed in place by two “poli miroir” fasteners.
The Fastback GT Drift wandering hours was born of team collaboration with world-leading Swiss movement manufacturer, Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier. Together Gorilla and Vaucher rose to the challenge of designing, engineering and manufacturing a new class of complication bearing the technical and emotional attributes reserved to high watchmaking.
The proprietary Gorilla G-5238 wandering hours module is a contemporary reinterpretation of a 17th-century horologic mechanism, housed in a uniquely sculpted blend of high-performance materials, purposefully assembled in a sequence and designed to augment the user experience.
The Fastback Drift Mirage is a limited edition of 250 pieces intended accessible to a new generation of watch collectors.
