Connected Modular 45

The connected watches range of TAG Heuer is expanding with the launch of the TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45mm. The first TAG Heuer modular luxury watch bearing the Swiss Made label. Just like the brand's famous mechanical chronographs, the Connected Modular 45 has been designed, developed, and assembled in the TAG Heuer Manufacture, in La Chaux-de-Fonds in Switzerland, in the best standards as a luxury product with Swiss Made quality.

Above all, the connected watch is inspired by a Carrera Model. It fits in this famous TAG Heuer collection, the perfect representation of avant-garde, Art of Manufacture and accessible luxury. Measuring an elegant 45 mm in diameter, the design of the TAG Heuer Connected Modular is primarily that of a genuine watch whose lugs, strap, buckle and, in particular, case - its central module are interchangeable elements. The connected module can be directly removed and replaced by push buttons on the back of the module to allow interchangeability with a mechanical module: a 3 hands calibre 5, or the most prestigious of Grande Complication timepieces, the ultimate expression of the watchmaker's art the tourbillon. But not just any tourbillon.

The concept of modularity presents a multitude of choices of materials, colors and combinations and also applies to the horns, the strap, and the buckle. This watch totally adapts to your identity and tastes. The modularity is simple and fast. It does not require any special tools and takes only a few seconds to change the items listed above.

The watch presented in this category presents a case and horns made in grade 5 titanium with alternating brushed and polished finishes on the edges. The bezel is made of black matte ceramic and the strap is in dual construction light brown calf leather and black rubber lining. Finally, the watch is equipped with a sapphire crystal glass to provide high resistance for the module.

The various sensors of the watch and its water resistant capacity allows the customer to practice various sports activities. The integrated sensors are: NFC payment system, GPS, microphone, accelerometer, ambient light sensor and gyroscope.

The watch screen contains AMOLED technology that offers an optimal resolution of 400 x 400 with a color rendering to highlight the range of colors present on our developments of digital watchmaking and functional dials. The brand has developed 30 watch dials, all retaining TAG Heuer's identity, some of which are inspired by historical pieces such as the famous panda dial, drawing on the brand's great heritage. The ambient light sensor included under the dial allows to regulate the luminosity of the dial between interior and exterior for optimum legibility.

Moreover, the TAG Heuer Studio dial configurator also offers customers the chance to create their own dial, just like a watchmaker. In the blink of an eye, you can choose your standard dial with its functions, and customize all the colors, the look of the metals on the indices and hands, the details in SuperLuminova™ and the lacquered tips for the finishing touches!

With TAG Heuer Studio, you can coordinate your watch to match your business suit, your running gear or even your swimsuit. And if you fancy setting the wallpaper to show one of your own photos perhaps a photo of a loved one, a beautiful sunset or a fond memory you can give your creativity free rein, because anything is possible.
