The new iteration of the Code 11.59 by Audemars Piguet Tourbillon Openworked, limited to 50 pieces, encompasses a contemporary two-tone case interweaving 18-carat white gold with blue ceramic – a play of colours and materials which accentuates the timepiece’s multifaceted architecture. The highly stylised timepiece is powered by Calibre 2948, the Manufacture’s last generation handwound tourbillon openworked movement, which testifies to the meticulous craftsmanship of the Le Brassus artisans. Visible on both sides of the watch, the blue openworked bridges and main plate matching with the case middle’s colour, reveal the regulating organ ticking within, while furthering the watch’s 3D effect. A blue textured rubber-coated strap completes the overall design.
