Classic Traveller Globe Night Blue
Power reserve: 72 h, 21600 vph
Silicium escapement
To mark the brand’s 15th anniversary, Laurent Ferrier reinterprets its emblematic Traveller Globe, first introduced in 2016. This new edition features a champlevé enamel dial, executed using the art of miniature painting. On a convex white gold plate, the continents in opaque blue enamel are punctuated with touches of enamelled gold, depicting the Earth’s city lights as seen from space at night. The entire composition is framed by a circular satin-brushed slate grey hour ring and drop-shaped white gold indices, further enhancing the dial’s three-dimensional effect.
Designed for travellers, the Classic Traveller Globe Night Blue seamlessly combines elegance and functionality. Two pushers integrated into the case allow instant adjustment of the local time without affecting the minutes. The home time is displayed at 9 o’clock on a 24-hour scale, while the date at 3 o’clock adjusts automatically when changing time zones.
At the heart of the timepiece lies the LF230.02 automatic calibre, featuring an 18K solid gold micro-rotor and a natural escapement with double direct impulse, ensuring a 72-hour power reserve. Visible through the sapphire case back, the movement showcases components meticulously hand-finished in the Laurent Ferrier workshops, in keeping with the most demanding standards of traditional haute horlogerie.
