Following on from the 2007 launch of the Classic Hexagon line that marked the 30th anniversary of the Ebel Classic, the Architects of Time offer a new interpretation further accentuating the signature features of a collection epitomizing contemporary elegance.

The Classic Hexagon line is a perfect example of drawing the best from an existing model, while successfully endowing it with new and distinctive characteristics. From its illustrious forerunner, the Ebel Classic, it has inherited first and foremost the famous hexagonal monohull case with its sculptural, pebble-smooth curves lovingly satin-brushed by hand. This unique and almost organic exterior emphasizes the exclusive and prestigious character of these watches, delicately accentuated by the other distinctive family traits: five screws and a crown perfectly integrated within the case. These fundamentals were subtly yet forcefully enhanced by several novel features, starting with the generous 45.4 mm case diameter and 37 mm dial opening, creating an unmistakable impression of spacious harmony, and the new sloping lugs ensuring an ideal fit for even the daintiest wrists. Protected by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides, the pure, uncluttered dial design features beveled, hand-applied hour-markers and counters graced with an exquisite “Clous de Paris” guilloché motif. These subtle details further highlight the decided emphasis on geometrical shapes and the play on perspectives that translate an exceptional encounter between elegant chic and modern sophistication.

This watch is fitted with a finely crafted alligator leather strap, setting the finishing touch to a timepiece that is synonymous with refinement for men eager to convey their inherent sense of good taste. Vividly expressing the refined sophistication of the Classic Hexagon, a steel model on a black leather strap features gracefully elegant day of the week, retrograde date and power-reserve indications lending a distinctive and refined presence to this new dial variation. It features a black dial with a discreet touch of red, along with rhodium-plated appliques and hour-markers, and is adorned with the refined “Clous de Paris” guilloché motif on all three counters.
