THE KADRA COLLECTION, REPRESENTED HERE BY THE CHRONOGRAPH MODEL IN PINK GOLD, IS OUR INTERPRETATION OF THE QUADRATURE OF THE CIRCLE PROBLEM. WE WANTED TO RESPOND TO THIS EMBLEMATIC EQUATION BY IMAGINING A WATCH THAT RECONCILES THE CLASSIC, SPORTY AND STATUTORY WATCH CODES. THE KADRA CHRONOGRAPH CAN BE WORN INDIFFERENTLY IN CASUAL ATTIRE, IN A SHIRT OR EVEN IN A SUIT. IT WILL THUS WITNESS THE KEY MOMENTS THAT WILL MARK THE LIFE OF ITS OWNER; WHETHER PERSONAL OR PROFESSIONAL.
WE ALSO WANTED IT TO USE THE BEST COMPONENTS POSSIBLE WHILE BEING VERY WELL POSITIONED ON THE MARKET, WHICH INVOLVED SIGNIFICANT BUT ASSUMED EFFORTS FROM OUR PART. FINALLY, WE WANTED IT TO BE MANUFACTURED AND TO USE THE RESOURCES AND KNOW-HOW OF GENEVA AND THE HISTORIC JURA WATCHMAKING REGION. THIS IS OUR QUADRATURE OF THE CIRCLE. THESE ARE THE VALUES THAT POINCARE WISHES TO CARRY.
Design
Proportions, attention to detail, indisputable quality and timeless, these were the values that dictated the creation of our Kadra Chronograph.
Classic, sporty and statutory, such should be the personality of this model, as indicated above. Starting from the Quadrature of the Circle, which is the DNA of Poincaré and the Kadra Collection, we imagined a "quadricircular" case and bezel shape. The various elements that would gravitate around this watch case, such as the crown, the push buttons, the dial, the hands and indexes, had to form a coherent whole and to respond harmoniously. We wanted people to be able to browse this design and gradually discover the play of light, textures, finishing, proportions, the care taken in every small detail, however tiny. Each element of the watch has thus been treated in this way, front, back and inside.
We finally wanted this watch to delight its owner for a lifetime, and more. We therefore had to try to find the right measure so as not to tire, by saying too much or too little. We hope to have achieved that, through the eyes of others and of you Jury of the GPHG. It is in all the case through that of Poincaré.
