Adorned with diamonds on the bezel and flowers garland on its edges, the case, within its generous proportions, is the host of the CP12V-IX caliber, a manual-winding mechanical movement which backside plate and upper disc have been drawn in hydrangea shape.
Marrying Haute Horlogerie with the jeweller excellence of the Maison, the delicate and complex mechanism displays the hours & minutes above a flowerbed created thanks to an exceptional blend of ancestral know-hows. Hydrangea flowers form a bunch which plays on volumes and colours, born from the hands of jewellery craftsmen experts in the technics of engraving and Grand Feu enamelling.
Beating at the rhythm of 21’600 vibrations per hour, with a power reserve of 120 hours, the Chaumet Hortensia Tourbillon watch is a precious complication, which draws upon materials and know-hows dear to the Maison, for more than 200 years.
