Ari is a timepiece that arcs elegantly around the wrist. Immediately striking are its strong, clean lines and uninterrupted views of the curvaceous movement following the form of the case. The linear movement architecture sees the balance placed at the top, followed by a sub-dial displaying seconds, then the hours and minutes dial in the centre. All hands are in traditional heat-blued steel. Further down, "Eva Leube" is hand-engraved on the ratchet wheel, which can ingeniously be orientated and fixed into position thanks to the sliding bridle of the mainspring and the locking crown.
Unusually, the ratchet wheel, click with click spring, escapement and balance, all face up towards the viewer, providing a harmonious balance between the aesthetical and technical aspects of the timepiece. The movement is mounted directly to the back of the case, ensuring that its fine construction is as robust as it is beautiful.
