a classic new line for a legendary collection
Since its creation in 1960, the Admiral's Cup epitomizes the ultimate Corum sports watch. For over half a century, this robust and virile timepiece has also embodied the brand's tribute to the maritime world, to sailing and sailors. In 2011, Corum is unveiling a complement to this legendary collection by presenting one slender and elegant watche: The Admiral's Cup Legend 42.
The Admiral's Cup collection has forged its sporting legend on oceans the world over for the past 50 years. Its twelve-sided bezel and its nautical pennants have formed an iconic family of Admiral's Cup models. In 2011, this collection is welcoming a new model lapping gently against the shores of classical elegance. The new classical variation on the Admiral's Cup theme is distinguished first and foremost by its size: 42 mm, a new design, a sole philosophy: that of an understated, classical and elegant watch preserving the distinctive signature codes of the original Admiral's Cup. The result is that this new classic is infused with a spirit of elegance and proudly proclaiming its sporting origins in a uniquely refined manner. The case has been redesigned with more strongly curved and rounded lugs, thus creating softer angles; while the back of the case is fitted with a transparent sapphire crystal to admire the mechanism inside.
