1870 CE
Power reserve: 86 h, 21600 vph
The 1870 CE (Classic Enamel) was created in partnership with the RGM Watch Company and is constructed using the same timeless techniques – a traditionally crafted Grand Feu enamel dial, thermal blued hands and hand-finished movement decoration – as the original Cornell Watch Company railroad pocket watches of the 1870s, while offering the modern precision of a 33-jewel Schwarz Etienne ASE 200 automatic movement with a micro-rotor and 86-hour power reserve. This 39mm model is crafted from a mix of brushed and polished stainless steel and is hand assembled, rigorously tested and warrantied by the RGM Watch Company. The Cornell Watch Company donates $500 for every 1870 CE sold to scholarships for American watchmaking students offered through the Horological Society of New York.
