The 2018 GPHG ceremony is set to be vibrant and connected
The prize-winners of the 18th edition of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) will be announced on Friday November 9th in Geneva’s Théâtre du Léman, at the eagerly awaited prize-giving ceremony. As master of ceremonies, the Foundation of the GPHG has chosen actor Edouard Baer, whose lively manner was already greatly appreciated by spectators in 2017. This year, he will be accompanied in song by Véronic DiCaire and her countless stunning ‘voices’.
In step with an ever more connected world, the GPHG has launched a digital platform for this 18th edition providing almost real-time images, interviews and other information: mediacenter-gphg.org. Practical, user-friendly, open and accessible without a password, this platform was developed to facilitate the work of the press and of watch brands – upstream, downstream and on the spot during the ceremony – by ensuring speedy access to all event elated content: photos, videos, press kits, etc.
The prize-giving ceremony will be broadcast live on the official GPHG website, as well as those of the Media Partner and on the Léman Bleu local TV channel.
In addition, the actual awarding of the “Aiguille d’Or” Grand Prix will be broadcast live on EuroNews, the most-watched news channel in Europe.
