Tonda PF GMT Rattrapante

The Tonda PF collection, launched in September 2021, redrew the lines of watchmaking purism. The collection expands at Watches and Wonders 2022 with a piece equipped with a world premiere complication the Tonda PF GMT Rattrapante. Faithful to to the minimalist character of the collection, it offers an innovative buteasy-to-use mechanism allowing it to retain its refined character. This complication displays two superimposed hour hands, one in rhodiumed gold and the other in pink gold. Pressing the pusher at 8 o’clock jumps the rhodium-plated gold upper hand, dedicated to local time, by one hour, revealing the pink gold hand displaying the wearer’s home time. When the wearer returns home,  pressing the pink gold pusher integrated into the crown allows the rhodium-plated hand to return to take its place above the pink gold hand in the manner of a split-seconds chronograph. This functionality makes it an extremely user-friendly complication entirely in keeping with the brand spirit.
