Here we find a rich mixture of the most precious and inalterable materials : 18- carat white gold, deep black scratchproof ceramic band Mademoiselle's favourite gemstone diamods.
In 1932, she dedicated her first Fine Jewellery exhibition, "Bijoux de Diamants", to them saying, "If I chose diamonds it's because they represent the highest value in the smallest volume."
An exceptional piece, this new "J12" combines the finest watch making savoir-faire with the purest Fine Jewellery Tradition.
605 baguette-cut diamonds set in white gold. The links, the dial centre and the 12 indexes are all set with baguette-cut black ceramic that highlight the sparkle of the diamonds. Approximatively 33-carats of faced-cut diamonds adorn the bracelet, bezel, watchcase, dial and crown. For extreme detail, the side of the watchcase and bracelet are also set with faced-cut diamonds. The very best workshops have dedicated 1,400 work-hours to produce this finest of all Fine Jewellery-set models.
This Fine Jewelry model, created by Jacques Helleu, has been produced in a limited series of 5, Mademoiselle's favourite number and Chanel's symbol. This piecedraws together all the chanel codes : black and white diamonds and ceramic, the combination of the tradionnal savoir-faire and high technology resulting in a "J12" made for eternity.
