Description

Much more than simply a concept watch, the Automatic Chronograph Evolution explores a totally new technical vision while respecting the highest traditions of high watchmaking. Innovative functionality and design, these where the precepts from which sprung the first classic chronograph  with  a fully visible rewinding system on the face side. After three years of research, this new system, for which Jouvenot Manufacture possesses an exclusive patent, enables the architecture of chronographs to be retained whilst allowing perfect visibility of the complicated inner workings of the watch.

The face leaves little doubt as to the watch's equally inventive and ingenious intentions. Its mysterious blend of technical information and pure mechanisms and lines, is simply bewitching.  It is ennobled by its many charms and excites enthusiasm in the beholder.

The gold oscillating mass follows the rythm of the wearer while participating to a great extent in animating the timepiece.   Thus, when worn on the wrist, it is freed of all restraints and attracts the looks of both the amateur and the experienced connaisseur.   Whether resting upside-down on a table or in reading mode, the chronograph's two registers always perfectly bisect  the rotor's curves.

Even when this timekeeper is worn during hectic periods, the specific opening of the oscillating mass  always assures optimal reading of the small second hand or of the minute hand. Thanks to the rotating movement around the specially high-cut mechanical dial the rotor can pass between all the components and even allows one to admire some superb handmade decorations.

On the back, disincumbered from a rewinding system that would interfere with the visibility or the esthetics of the movement, this automatic chronograph reveals its fine and uncompromising mechanics. Again it surprises with up-market hand-made finishes which underline the special personality of this timepiece, and bring out all its lustre.

With its autonomy, visible components, mechanism both classic and anstonishing, and innovative design free from artifice, this timekeeper readjusts the limits of all automatic chronographs manufactured to date thus inscribing its own history in the Golden Book of High Watchmaking.
