Maurice Lacroix’s promised new piece is finally here. Two years after the launch of the quartz version, this historical model has been given a new, sharper look with an automatic movement, giving rise to the AIKON Automatic. Renowned for its high-quality designs and its innovation, watch brand Maurice Lacroix has worked the AIKON to give it finishings of unparalleled perceived value.

For the first time, Maurice Lacroix is presenting a complete range of AIKON watches with automatic movements. Although based on the design of the AIKON quartz, Maurice Lacroix has created a whole new watch.

Impactful design

The AIKON collection is the descendant of the Calypso. This benchmark piece—the brand’s best-belling model of the 1990s—already incorporated the AIKON's main distinctive features: the integrated water-resistant case, the flat sapphire crystal encircled by the famous six-arm bezel, the M logo in relief on the leather straps, and exceptionally high-quality production. In 2016, Maurice Lacroix revamped these iconic features with the AIKON quartz. Two years on, the transformation continues with even more details, greater finesse and increased value.

With their dynamic angles and pronounced polished and satin-finished surfaces, the AIKON Automatic models have a real presence on the wrist. They also feature a newly designed flexible five link steel bracelet. Extremely soft and supple, it suits all wrists.

The AIKON Automatic models are eye-catching, from the bracelet to the case. The energetic, taut curves clearly communicate the modern, masculine dimension imparted to these models by Maurice Lacroix’s design. Crafted entirely from steel, they feature satin finishes, while the edges and six signature arms on the bezel are polished.

A wealth of finishes

The dials of the AIKON Automatic pieces present bold textured patterns. The three-hand version features a Clou de Paris motif. Applied hour-markers punctuate the dial with a strong, angular and beveled design that catches the light. The polished edges of the date window produce a similarly captivating effect.

Their strong character, high standard of finishings and ergonomic design make the AIKON Automatic watches extremely sophisticated without impacting their price. Maurice Lacroix continues to present timepieces with a higher perceived value than their price tag would suggest.

Powerful products

The AIKON Automatic presents a diameter of 42 mm. Water-resistant to 200 m, its steel case is assorted with one of three dial colors: blue, silver or anthracite gray. These shades blend seamlessly with the five-link steel bracelet or the black, blue or brown leather straps, each decorated with an applied Maurice Lacroix “M” logo. Both versions come with a subtly bouchonné butterfly clasp to give the owner even greater comfort.

To make the pieces even more practical and ergonomic, the AIKON Automatic models introduce the EasyChange quick bracelet change system. You can easily change bracelets to suit your mood, whims or clothing thanks to its bar with two pins.
